I want to enquire about a wedding, what happens next?

Step 1

After I receive your enquiry, I will check my calendar to make sure I am available on your wedding date! We can then have an obligation free meeting (usually via Zoom).

This will give you a chance to meet me and decide if I am the right fit for you. I will also touch on the legal requirements for getting married in Australia.

Step 2

If you choose me to be your celebrant, I will provide you with a service agreement and an invoice for a deposit. We will meet face to face (where possible) and sign our first legal document, the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). We will also get into the fun stuff – planning your ceremony and talking about your love story.

Step 3

Ceremony day! I will deliver your ceremony and get you both married. I can stay on to MC your reception (optional). After the ceremony I will lodge your legal paperwork with Births Deaths & Marriages.
